Defence Anglicans warmly congratulates Chaplain Wendy Robertson, who has received a commendation recognising her noteworthy service as a chaplain at the Royal Military College, Duntroon.
Throughout 2025, Chaplain Robertson’s flexibility and dedication helped ensure that trainees and staff continued to receive reliable pastoral care and support. Her ministry was especially important for trainees rehabilitating and transitioning through Bridges Company.
The commendation also recognises Chaplain Robertson’s immediate response following a critical incident. Although she had no recall responsibilities at the time, she readily returned to support the trainees and staff affected—an example of her strong sense of duty and genuine care for those she serves.
As a reservist chaplain, Captain Robertson has brought professionalism, compassion and adaptability to her ministry. Her presence and commitment have strengthened morale and cohesion and helped build trust in chaplaincy among personnel of all ranks across Romani and Bridges companies.
